Mixing Console:

British Dynamix 3000

* Completely refurbished and modified to Dean Jensen specs, based on the legendary "Quad Eight" console design. This console sounds amazing. All legendary consoles have a particular sound or "flavor". The words clients use to describe this British console are "warm, smooth, and punchy". This analog board breathes life into digital recordings that you won't be able to emulate "in the box". Engineers and producers consistently state that this is one of the nicest sounding EQ sections they have ever heard on a mixer. You will hear it too!

The Eurythmics recorded "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)" on a stock Dynamix and only 8 tracks! Jimmy Eat Worlds double platinum album was recorded on Doug Messengers Dynamix 3000 in LA, as was R.L. Burnsides album which won "Blues Record of the Year" at the W.C Handy music awards. Becks first album was also recorded on a Dynamix 3000. Other successful albums recorded on the Dynamix include Good Charlotte, Poison, Rock Kills Kid, Joe Bonamassa, and The Mannish Boys, which was also nominated for record of the year. Our engineer Jeff Cloud teamed up with Doug and Dave Gallo (ace tech for Rumbo Recorders, Le Mobile etc), as well as Jim Williams of Audio Upgrades Hollywood, to completely rebuild the console using everything they had learned from their friend Dean Jensen, founder of the legendary Jensen Transformers. The result will please your ears!

Recording:

We have everything you need to make stellar, world class recordings . If we don't have something you need, we can rent it or purchase it for your project.
